Who We Are and Why shell99 Exists
Shell99 started from a simple observation — many Malaysian players who enjoy online entertainment didn't have a platform that truly understood their needs. Whether in terms of language, local payment methods, withdrawal speed, or friendly and reliable customer support, many platforms available at the time felt foreign and disconnected from local users.
In 2019, a team of seasoned industry professionals founded shell99 with a clear vision: to build an online entertainment platform designed from the ground up for Malaysian players. Not just in terms of interface language, but in how we operate, how we manage member accounts, and how we process every financial transaction.
Today, shell99 has grown into one of Malaysia's most trusted online entertainment platforms, with over 135,000 active members from every corner of the country — from Perlis to Sabah and Sarawak. This growth is more than just a number. It is real proof that our player-first approach truly works.
Our Mission: To provide every Malaysian player with a safe, fair, and enjoyable online entertainment experience — with full Bahasa Melayu support, local payment methods, and fast, hassle-free withdrawals.
Shell99's Journey From 2019 to Today
The journey of shell99 has never been easy, but it has been marked by meaningful milestones that shaped who we are today. Every step we've taken has always been guided by one question: "Does this benefit our players?"
2019
The Founding of shell99
Shell99 officially launched with an initial collection of over 150 slot titles and payment support via FPX. The original goal was simple — make the deposit and withdrawal process as seamless as possible for Malaysian players.
2020

2022
VIP Programme & Live Sports Betting Launch
Shell99 introduced a tiered VIP membership programme with exclusive benefits such as high cashback, unlimited withdrawal limits, and a personal account manager. A live sports betting module was also launched, covering both local and international football leagues.
2023
100,000 Active Members & 256-bit SSL Encryption
Shell99 reached the milestone of 100,000 active members and upgraded its security infrastructure with full SSL 256-bit encryption and two-factor authentication (2FA) for all accounts. The average withdrawal time was successfully reduced to under 5 minutes.
2026–2026
shell99 Today — 135,000+ Members, 800+ Titles
With 800+ game titles from 20+ licensed international providers, active progressive jackpots exceeding RM 1.2 million, and an average withdrawal time of 3 minutes, shell99 continues to strengthen its position as Malaysia's top online entertainment platform.
The Core Values That Shape shell99
Behind every decision we make — from interface design to withdrawal policies — are four core values that constantly guide us. These are not mere slogans on paper; they are actively practised in shell99's day-to-day operations.
What Sets shell99 Apart from Other Platforms?
This is a question often asked by new players hearing about shell99 for the first time. The answer isn't a single thing — it's a combination of elements working together to create a better experience from start to finish. Allow us to explain honestly what makes shell99 different.
A Truly Extensive Game Collection
With 800+ titles spanning video slots, fish shooting games, live sports betting, classic table games, and live dealer games, shell99 offers a variety that is hard to match. We partner with world-class providers such as PG Soft, Pragmatic Play, Spadegaming, Habanero, Playtech, Microgaming, and NetEnt — all licensed and independently tested for consistent quality and fairness.
Fast & Hassle-Free Withdrawals
One of the most common complaints players have about other platforms is slow withdrawals and a cumbersome process. At shell99, we take this seriously. Our withdrawal system is optimised to process requests within just 3 to 5 minutes via DuitNow, Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, or FPX. Once KYC verification is completed on your first withdrawal, all subsequent withdrawals are processed automatically with no unnecessary delays.
Full Bahasa Melayu Customer Support
The shell99 support team consists of Bahasa Melayu-fluent individuals who understand the context of Malaysian players. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via live chat, WhatsApp, and email. Whether you have questions about bonuses, are experiencing technical issues, or need help with your account — our team is ready to assist quickly and warmly, without any tedious formalities.
Shell99's Commitment to Responsible Gaming
Shell99 believes that truly meaningful entertainment is entertainment that is controlled and responsible. We provide a range of self-control tools that members can use at any time through their account settings — including daily and weekly deposit limits, loss limits, play-time reminders, and a forced break option.
For members who feel they need a longer break, temporary self-exclusion (between 1 week and 6 months) or permanent exclusion is available instantly without needing to contact the support team first. We want every shell99 member to play for fun, not out of stress or unhealthy habit.
This platform is strictly for users aged 18 and above. shell99 enforces a rigorous identity verification (KYC) process to ensure all members meet this age requirement, safeguarding a healthy gaming ecosystem for everyone.
